Serendipity is a family business which was started in 1966 by Alix Mandelson. Alix started making her own ice cream at home because, at the time, the most exotic ice cream available in Sydney was Neapolitan – and she is allergic to chocolate! There products are generally denser than most commercial brands, and are lower in sugar, but the main criterion is taste.

The Jordan family run there business in the picturesque Yarra Valley. Drawing inspiration from mother nature and traditional preserving techniques, they are producing an enormous range of flavoured oils, preserved pickles, chutneys, jams and sauces, giving you the opportunity to experience that home made flavour.
